GeekWire reached out to Amazon about the new Twitter accounts and here’s a statement the company shared:

Given the company’s activity in various industries, Amazon’s ad business goes further than just e-commerce, extending into movies, TV, gaming, voice products, live sports, and even cardboard boxes. Grocery purchasing data from its acquisition of Whole Foods can give Amazon more insight into brick-and-mortar advertising strategies. Amazon also allows sellers?to buy ads for products not offered on Amazon.
Giessel, who grows wheat and corn near the western Kansas community of Larned, said he was "glad they are trying to be doing something, but I don't know when the day is over how much difference it is going to make. The underlying problem is still there."

Glaser said that the quest for cutting-edge technologies is spawning innovation in every nook and corner of China.

GeekWire tried the service out before it launched last year, and similar media outlets have reported item discounts. GeekWire previously reported members get small discounts?on most items and additional savings were tacked on if they did things that made transactions cheaper on Jet’s end, like placing?larger orders or selecting items?that didn’t have to be shipped as far.
