Wang said he hoped that the experiences and stories shared in the book would not only be a commemoration of the past, but also a reflection that can be passed on to future generations.
Wang said Medgyessy's assistance as prime minister from 2002 to 2004 was essential to the promotion of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, kung fu and even the Chinese language in Hungary: "Medgyessy is a visionary and respected Hungarian leader who boosted Sino-Hungarian exchanges."
Wang said that although progress has been made in soccer education, there is still a long way to go for the country to become a power in the sport.
Wang said he was saddened by the violence, especially the break-in and vandalism at the city's Legislative Council Complex by some radical protesters in an "extremely uncivilized" way that shocked the country and the world.
Wang Shouwen, vice-minister of commerce, said as a demonstration of China's resolve to further open up and promote economic globalization, the island, which covers 35,400 square kilometers, will be granted more autonomy to enact reforms and speed the fostering of a law-based, international and convenient business environment.

Wang said Chinese economy has turned from high-speed development to realizing high-quality progress, and he hoped the members can continue to actively participate in and witness China's economic construction, and contribute to China's communication and cooperation with other countries in various areas.
Wang said the authorities have been stepping up the process to enact new laws regulating the residential leasing market, one of the long-term measures for steady and stable development of the housing market.
Wang proposed that countries around the world join forces to chart a course forward with structural economic reforms and innovative development.
Wang said at the news conference on Sunday that health authorities must improve coordination with other departments-including foreign affairs, customs, aviation and railways-to prevent cases being imported. Measures such as placing all inbound travelers in isolation and medical observation for 14 days must be well implemented, she said.
