He revealed that the continent is pursuing innovative strategies to increase the uptake of selected projects while shortening project delivery cycles. This means strengthening capacity of institutions, promoting transparency in the procurement process and building strong mechanisms for engaging private players to ensure that interests are mutually aligned.
He said that the Republic of Congo is ready to align its development strategies with the Belt and Road Initiative to accelerate development of both sides.
He reiterated China's commitment to following a path of peaceful development and adhering to the country's opening-up strategy for win-win results.
He said China's closer business ties with the ASEAN and the signing of the RCEP will also provide a clear path and a strong impetus for the development of the Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific, or FTAAP.
