Wang called for deep understanding of the historical background that has produced Xi's thought, the original contributions it has made to Marxism and the guidance it provides for the realization of the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.
Wang Jun, a chief economist at Zhongyuan Bank, said the country would enhance demand-side regulation in the short term and continue to push supply-side structural reform in the longer term. China's rapid growth over the past decades was fueled by capital investment, exports and consumption, which are considered as being on the demand side.
Wang now receives about half his income from a local rural cooperative, which collects and manages villagers' land, while earning the rest by working at the cooperative, known as the Xinzhongtianba Chives Planting Base.
Wang made her life plan after entering university. "I learned a foreign language, and want to get a postgraduate degree at a university in China. Then I will go overseas to get a PhD. At that time, I will be just 26 years old. Finally I will go back to China and seek a teaching job at a Chinese university," said Wang.
Wang and Ri also had an in-depth exchange of views on the situation in the Korean Peninsula, and briefed each other on the latest developments. Both sides agreed to continue to stay in close communication and contribute more to the peace and stability of the region.
Wang Shouwen, vice-minister of commerce, said the APEC leaders will discuss such issues as inclusive economic growth, regional economic integration, innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises and food safety.

Wang said China has been working to carry out reforms to build an open economy and create a stable, fair business environment, which has achieved good results and gained recognition from the rest of the world.
Wang said the possibility that China's GDP would be dragged down by trade disputes was relatively small in 2018, since the 10 percent tariffs on 200 billion U.S. dollars of Chinese products would not come into effect before September.
Wang made the statement in a Paris meeting on Thursday with French foreign minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian. Wang was in France for the 18th session of consultation of China-France Strategic Dialogue coordinators.
Wang called on both sides to enhance mutual political trust on the basis of the one-China principle, and firmly support each other on issues concerning their respective core interests, so as to ensure that China-Burkina Faso relations will enjoy long-term and steady development.
