“Grocery is the largest category within U.S. retail and it is also one of the least penetrated online,” Dan Sundheim, founder of D1 Capital Partners, said in a statement. “The industry is at a tipping point and there will likely be a significant acceleration in the adoption of online ordering for grocery delivery over the next few years. We believe that traditional retailers will lead the category online, as their brick and mortar stores are the most effective distribution centers for fulfillment of online grocery orders.”
“Amazon and Google have succeeded in selling multiple units to a single household,” Mike Levin, partner and co-founder of CIRP, said in a statement. “Their strategies appear to include persuading owners to use smart speakers in multiple rooms, which helps create more active usage of the voice platform. And, Google has mostly caught up to Amazon in this strategy. A year ago, almost twice the percentage of Amazon Echo users had multiple units as Google Home users. Now, about one-third of both Amazon Echo and Google Home users have multiple units.”
“Even if it’s the Spring Festival holiday, most of them cannot go back to visit their families as the streets still need to be cleaned,” he said.

“I am not satisfied with Facebook’s disclosure, as they did not report an actual number,” said Lamb. “Just saying men and women are paid equally is not enough. Companies need to be disclosing quantitative data points and the components of compensation included in their analysis. For instance, is Facebook looking at bonus and equity pay as well? Their current disclosure does not answer that question.”
