XIAMEN - Xiamen Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GE Thursday, to further strengthen strategic cooperation.
Xi's trip to Kazakhstan has added impetus to building the Belt and Road Initiative, cements the bond among countries for the community of shared future and opens up broad prospects for peace and prosperity in the region, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Saturday.
Xi said he was aware of people's major concerns, such as education, employment, incomes, social security, medical care, security in old age, housing and the environment.
Xi also said that the report should be drafted following principles including "correct political direction, emancipating the mind, keeping abreast of the times, upholding strategic thinking, and proceeding from reality."
Xi also welcomed the students to visit China via the China-Laos Railway.
Xi is at the wheel of a reform juggernaut, revitalizing almost every aspect of the economy and society, from the financial sector to healthcare. Changing the lives of hundreds of millions of people means the abandonment of what is no longer relevant, including the one-child policy and "re-education through labor", a method of dealing with minor offenders introduced more than 50 years ago.

Xi proposed building the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, known collectively as the Belt and Road Initiative, during visits to Kazakhstan and Indonesia in the autumn of 2013.
Xi, also chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), sent his greetings to attendees on behalf of the Chinese government and the CMC in the video.
Xi hailed the association as an important force in promoting the country's agricultural development after the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, especially since the reform and opening up drive initiated about 40 years ago.
Xi said member nations have continued to speak with one voice on major international and regional issues and have continued to increase their ability to safeguard peace and security.
